Mission Statement
Mission Statement text This can be summarised in one statement - "A ONE STOP SHOP
We are a Company that specialises in helping NEW and EXISTING businesses utilise the P.C. arena. If you are looking for specialist 'games machines or software' - we're not your answer. If you are wanting to utilise 'non-Microsoft based' equipment then - again - we are not the men for you. Although we 'link' mobile equipment to P.C. networks - because there is a business need to do so - we are not the people to supply you with mobile phones, Tablets etc.
So what do we do !!!
We accept we are only a small team - but we have over 100 years (yes "years") experience in the I. T. arena. - with a lot of that being in the 'mainframe era'. During that particular period it was accepted that just about ALL computer activity was 'business based' and the environment, equipment, personnel and procedures were set up with this in mind. Suddenly we have the 'dramatic' arrival of the P.C. which immediately impacted on the first three elements - to be then followed with newly developed software packages that were intended to take care of the fourth.
For some reason - 'the world' appeared to assume that as long as the 'operating system (what's one of them !!) was consistent we would ALL become 'experts' within a few weeks. The fact that developments within the arena - as a whole - were so dramatic that the 'professionals' themselves found it difficult to 'keep up' - meant that the ordinary 'User' was constantly 'chasing his/her tail'.
We - as a group of individuals - decided in the 1980's to form a Company that would help the 'common man' navigate through what was obviously going to be a 'stormy sea'. In truth the outcome was that we just became specialists in 'communication' - be that between ourselves and the Client to establish the Project - the Project and the Software - the Software and the Hardware - and in recent times - all of those things with the Internet.
We found - over time - that we each needed to have a particular 'speciality' - which only goes to emphasise the absurdity of the idea that one particular individual can control everything. The 'trick' in what is effectively a 'multi-language' environment is to have someone available that 'speaks the lingo'
We KNOW that we have all of this under control - so if you're wanting to start anew, or upgrade your existing systems or perhaps 're-vamp' all that you're currently doing - REMEMBER :
We are "A ONE STOP SHOP".
